With God

A band called Salvador, in their song "With God":

"With God, I'm protected
With God, I'm set free
With God, none shall harm me
With God"

being with God is enough for me to face anything....

for He is the Almighty God.

Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, "Are you for us or for our enemies?"

"Neither," he replied, "but as commander of the army of the LORD I have now come." Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, "What message does my Lord have for his servant?"

Many times we assume that "God's on our side, we will be alright..." but is it really true? Is God really "on our side"? This verse is a reminder to me: we cannot make or persuade God to be "on our side" or to be "for us" - either we're on His side, or we're not. Thats the real question.. are we really sure we're on God's side?

If I am, I have all the assurance in the world, that everything will be fine.
